Salted Caramel Curd Christmas Puff Pastry Swirls

These golden, flaky pastry swirls are a quick Christmas treat—warm, buttery, and filled with the rich sweetness of The Wooden Spoon Salted Caramel Curd.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet ready-rolled puff pastry
  • 4–5 tbsp The Wooden Spoon Salted Caramel Curd
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Optional: cinnamon sugar or crushed pecans for sprinkling

Method

  • Prep: Heat oven to 200°C (180°C fan) and line a baking tray with parchment.
  • Fill: Unroll the puff pastry and spread an even layer of salted caramel curd over the surface.
  • Roll & slice: Roll up from the long edge into a tight log. Slice into 1.5–2cm swirls.
  • Bake: Place on the tray, brush lightly with beaten egg, and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar or pecans if using. Bake for 12–15 minutes until puffed and golden.
  • Serve: Enjoy warm, dusted with icing sugar or dipped in extra caramel for a festive treat.
