Currency & Prices

All pricing and transactions in Sterling. Prices apply to United Kingdom only and are subject to alteration without prior notification. Prices charged will be those effective at the date of order and are subject to VAT where applicable.

 

FREE DELIVERY

Retailers Minimum order: £100*

 (*NI, ROI & Highlands – £500 and Isle of Wight – £300)

£8 delivery cost for orders less than £100

 (NI, ROI, Highlands – £50 and Isle of Wight – £20)

2.5% Discount on orders over £515

Wholesale and Distributor discounts available upon application.

Orders & Leadtime

Seven days from order confirmation subject to quantity. Orders are accepted subject to availability and our standard terms of trading.

 

Payment Terms

For initial orders the company reserves the right to request payment by Pro-forma Invoice prior to the delivery of goods.

All payments which are due within thirty days must be made to HSBC Invoice Finance UK Ltd unless otherwise specified.  Payment details are noted on the invoice and accompanying email.

 

Terms

Payment is due within 30 days of despatch. The Wooden Spoon Preserving Company Ltd. reserves the right to charge interest of 1% per month or part month on overdue accounts and pass on handling costs for cheques returned unpaid. On delivery, all risks in connection with the goods shall pass to the customer. However, title to the goods will remain with the company until payment for all items delivered has been received. The seller may deliver by instalments in such quantities as it may reasonably decide; such instalments shall be separate obligations and no breach in respect of one or more of them shall entitle the Buyer to cancel any subsequent instalments or repudiate this contract as a whole.

 

Upon Delivery

You will be asked upon delivery by a carrier to sign for goods received. If, however, any boxes should be damaged a note of this must be made on the carrier’s receipt. No claim for damage or shortage. can be accepted unless stated clearly on receipt. Unexamined or unchecked is not sufficient. You must notify the main office of any shortage or damage within three days to validate your claim.  The Company reserves the right to credit for damaged goods rather than replace like for like.
