Orange Gingerbread Stars


Ingredients

How to make this recipe

Ingredients:
175g Plain flour
1/4 tsp Bicarbonate of soda
2 tsp ground ginger
113g jar of Wooden Spoon orange and ginger marmalade replaces 60g sugar
75g butter or marge
2 tbsp. golden syrup

To Decorate:
250g icing sugar
30ml ice cold water
Silver decoration balls


Method

Melt marmalade, syrup and butter together on a low heat
Once melted combine the flour, bicarbonate, ginger and sugar together in one bowl and mix into a dough
Place into fridge for 20 mins to firm
Roll between two sheets of baking parchment to required thickness
Use cutter of choice
Bake at 180 degrees for 8-10 mins
